  1.              chaos ring v2

Well it appears that trend forecasters K-Hole are touting Chaos magic for the next year, even talking to Vogue on the subject. It hardly feels like 30 years since I made my first bit of Chaos inspired jewellery, a simple disc with a Chaos Symbol on it. Sadly I don't have a picture of it. However it's nice to know we're still ahead of the curve here at The Travelling Jewellery Emporium. Looks like Professional Jeweller got it right when they listed us as Trendsetters in last years Hot 100.

Anyway guess we picked the perfect time to get our Symbol of Chaos collection up and running.

  2. From now on some of our products will be helping the animals at Hillside Animal Sanctuary. If you'd like to know more about them, or even donate yourself, you'll find their website address on our links page.

The items currently assisting are the horses and the apples (horses love apples) in The Cabinet of Curiosities Collection, and the horseshoe in the Precious Ink Collection.

  3. Yes, that's right, as of September the 1st 2014, we're trendsetters. It's official.

This year we were nominated, selected and named in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100. On Monday evening, we took ourselves down to the esoterically ornate  Freemason's Hall on Great Queen Street for this years big reveal and some free champagne. Caught up with a few clients, saw some old friends, found some new ones and collected a few pats on the back.

This brings the total so far for our professional awards and accolades to 18. Mostly from the Goldsmith's Council, but also from the UK Jewellery Awards, Sheffield Assay Office and The Royal Society of British Sculptors.

If that isn't a perfect night out, then what is ?

An exceptionally big thank you to Kathryn Bishop and everyone at Professional Jeweller Magazine.
